Well, what’s there to say. I’m a 37 and a ‘want to be avid cyclist’. When not riding, I’m raising my girls with my wife and managing software product development or writing software.
I started riding back in 1986, got my first racing bike in 1988, rode through college and then got a job and got married and didn’t ride regularly again until 2006 when I bought a new bike and set some goals.
I live in North Bend Washington and LOVE the roads out here, low traffic, good pavement, lots of climbs and flats, and TERRIFIC views (like by theme banner graphic).

Dear Mr. Riddenwords–
Cool! I see that you’ve bagged 1600 miles YTD, I am at about 1650, basically exactly the same. My goal this year is 2000, my all-time high was 2600 in 2005 and I expect toend up somewhere in between for 2007.
